Manuel Gilbert Costa

Manuel Gilbert Costa, 85, of Norton, MA passed away on February 6, 2025, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro where he had been a short-term resident.
Born in the Azores on December 30, 1939, he was a son of the late Joseph DaCosta and the late Rosalina (Tavares) DaCosta.
As a professional welder, Mr. Costa was employed at the Brask Company for many years prior to his retirement.
He was a former communicant of the former Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro, MA.
Those left to mourn his loss include Joyce I. Lyons and his sisters: Flavia Jillson of North Attleboro, MA; Norma Lillia of Lakeville, MA and Nancy Smith in Florida; and a brother:
Zeke Costa of Fall River, MA
He was the brother of the late Louis Costa.
At his request, all services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oncology Department of MA General Hospital in honor of the care provided to Joyce's grandson.
