Madeline Anna (Siatkowski) Marland, 91, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late John Thomas Marland.Born on June 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Castle) Siatkowski.Before her retirement, Madeline worked for many years as an Assembler for the Fuller Box Company in North Attleboro, and for Little Sisters of the Poor. A longtime resident of North Attleboro, MA, she attended Grace Episcopal Church there. Madeline loved watching movies from the 1940's and listening to all kinds of music, especially from the 1940's. She enjoyed dancing, visits to Crescent Park Carousel in East Providence, RI, and trips to New York City with her family to watch plays. She was the mother of Dennis J. Marland of Woonsocket, RI; Lucy A. Marland of Attleboro, MA; Timothy E. Marland of Attleboro, MA; Ruth A. Marland of Attleboro, MA; Donna L. Brothis of Attleboro, MA; and the late Ellen E. Thatcher. She leaves five grandchildren: Jonathan W. Marland; Julie M. Braza; Kristopher M. Marland; Adam J. Marland; and Michael D. Thatcher; and four great-grandchildren: Norah M. Braza; Nathan A. Braza; Makenna R. Marland; and Corrine M. Marland. Madeline was the sister of Fredrick W. Shay of Providence, RI; Joan Philbin of TX; the late Arthur Siatkowski; and the late Robert Siatkowski.
