Lynn Susan (Vangor) Carrano, 64, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA. She was the beloved wife of Richard V. Carrano. Born on June 3, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late William and Theresa (Chaplinksky) Vangor.A graduate of Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, CT, she then received her Associate Degree in Business Administration.Lynn worked for many years in Retail Sales in the main warehouse of Dover Saddlery, Inc. in Littleton, MA, before retiring in November 2016. She was a resident of Attleboro for the past thirty-five years, having previously lived in Bridgeport, CT. A true animal lover and animal rights activist, she was a longtime member of the American Kennel Club, and always had a special fondness for horses. She most especially cherished spending time with her family and her treasured daughter. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Candace May (Carrano) Sidwell, and her husband, Nathan D. Sidwell, of Attleboro, MA. She was the sister of Gregory Vangor of Southbury, CT, and his late wife, Joyce; and the late John Vangor. Lynn leaves several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
