Luis Antonio Miranda, Jr., 36, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, the victim of an unsolved homicide.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 6, 1986, he was the son of Veronica Ann Grace of Providence, Rhode Island and the late Luis Antonio Miranda, Sr. of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico
Luis was employed in the construction industry for many years for various companies.
He enjoyed life and was creating a life balance and treasured the times spent creating memories with family and friends. His son, Kamryn, was his pride and joy. A very likeable man, he was outgoing and enjoyed being with people.
For the past year, his goal was to open a moving company and construction business. He enjoyed helping people move and then assist in fixing up the recently purchased properties. Luis also enjoyed cutting hair, braiding, and doing line-ups.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his son: Kamryn A. Miranda, age 7, of New Bedford, MA; his siblings: Omar A. Grace, Sr. of Long Island, New York; Talen P. Wornum, Sr. of Brockton, MA; Briana D. Wornum of Providence, Rhode Island; Brandon I. Grace of Providence, Rhode Island, Justin A. Weeks of Boston, MA, Sasha N. Salgado of Los Angeles, California, Luis G. Miranda of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, Anthony S. Miranda of Boston, MA; three nephews: Sean M. Grace, Talen P. Wornum, Jr. and Omar A. Grace, Jr. One Niece Anja Archila, and a large extended family and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on a date and time to be announced.
