Luis Maciel Caldeira, 85 of North Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at home. He was the beloved husband of Maria J. (Monteiro) Sousa.
Born in Madeira, Portugal on September 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Manuel and Carolina (Gonsalves) Caldeira.
Luis was an entrepreneur for many years before his retirement. He was an avid New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys fan, loved traveling and most importantly spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his loving stepchildren, Michelle Sousa, her spouse and their children of Attleboro , MA., Nataline Sousa and her spouse of Los Angeles, California; a son, Manuel Caldeira, his spouse and their children of Whitman, MA., and a daughter, Suzanne Caldeira and her spouse of Rehoboth, MA. He is also survived by his devoted sister, Maria Asensaon Caldeira from Venezuela. He was the brother of the late Heliodoro and Alvaro Caldeira also of Madeira, Portugal.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be private.
