Lucille Therese Sweeney, 79, of Woonsocket, RI; formerly of Bellingham, MA and Pawtucket, Rhode Island, died on December 1, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on August 2, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Leo Alfred Gosselin and the late Therese Marie (Godbout) Gosselin. She attended grade school at St. Louis School, Woonsocket and graduate from Marie Joseph Academy in Biddeford, Maine.
Following graduation, Lucille went to school to be a hairstylist and she worked for many years at a variety of hair salons in the Woonsocket area.
Lucille was the mother of Kristen Sweeney, Derrick Sweeney, and Patty Burke. Loving grandmother of Gisele and Cynthia Sweeney. Great grandmother of Jason Sweeney, Jayvius Bravo and Carson Dorgan. Sister of Raymond Gosselin, Roland Gosselin, Madeleine Gosselin Wright and the late Constance Schick and Maurice Gosselin.
