Lucille C. (Morrison) Keniston, 92, of Orleans Road, Chatham; formerly of Walnut Street, Plainville, died on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Liberty Commons Skilled Care and Rehabilitation Center in Chatham. She was the wife of the late Robert Charles Keniston who died on September 21, 1985. Born in Derry, New Hampshire on February 20, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Cecile Hoyt and Rose Alma (Rioux) Morrison. She resided in Concord, New Hampshire and Londonderry, New Hampshire prior to moving to Plainville where she resided from 1958 until moving to Cape Cod in 2007. She was a graduate of the Pinkerton Academy with the Class of 1938. Mrs. Keniston was a devoted and dedicated homemaker and later was employed by the Town of Plainville at the Plainville Library for several years prior to her retirement. She was a longtime member of the Plainville United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Women's Union for many years. Mrs. Keniston enjoyed the times spent with her dear friends at the Plainville Senior Center. She leaves three children: Robbin J. Claringbold and her husband, Rick, of Hillsborough, New Jersey; Richard S. Keniston and his wife, Cheryl Keniston, of Plainville and Robert B. Keniston and his wife, Sharon Keniston, of Brewster; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother: Robert Morrison and his wife, Carol Morrison, of Derry, New Hampshire and several extended family members and dear friends. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. David Hill, officiating. Burial will be private. Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Plainville United Methodist Church, 16 East Bacon Street, Plainville.
