Lucille Albertine (Dubois) Fontaine, 96, of Depot Street, North Attleboro, died on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Rudolph L. Fontaine. Born in Quebec, Canada on November 28, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Antoinette (Metivier) Dubois. She moved to North Attleboro from Central Falls, Rhode Island 58 years ago. Mrs. Fontaine was a dedicated homemaker devoted to her family. She was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, South Attleboro. Her family was most valued and adored. She enjoyed watching soap operas and the Lawrence Welk show on television and will be remembered for her love for cooking, cleaning and collecting elephant and angel memorabilia. She leaves her children: Dolores Boillard in Kentucky; Alice St. Pierre of North Providence, RI; Lucille L. Bourdeau of Pawtucket; Simonne T. Emmott of Pawtucket; Beatrice M. Girard of North Attleboro; Jeanne R. Fontaine of North Attleboro; Emile Fontaine of North Attleboro; Leo Fontaine of Chepachet, RI; Paul Fontaine of North Attleboro; Joanne D. Gilbert of Cumberland, RI; Lynnette A. Fontaine of West Warwick, RI; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister: Bella Gariepy of Cumberland, RI and several extended family members. She was the mother of the late Doris A. Lawrence and was the sister of the late Rita Girouard. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on TUESDAY, February 3, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
