Lucille R. "Rosie" Comey, 75, of Oak Hill Avenue, Attleboro, died on Monday, September 29, 2014 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Mason Comey to whom she was married on February 15, 1958 and who died on April 19, 2010. Born in Mansfield, Massachusetts on April 13, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Genarro and Josephine (Cataloni) Todesco. Raised and educated in Mansfield, Mrs. Comey was a 1957 graduate of Mansfield High School. She had been a resident of Attleboro since 1960. Mrs. Comey was employed by Texas Instruments in Attleboro for more than 20 years prior to her retirement. For five years, she was a volunteer at her son's business, Assisted Living Manor, in Pawtucket. A woman of strong faith and religious convictions, Mrs. Comey was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church in Seekonk. She was a member of the 65 Club, a bowling team, and of the Arbor Society. Her family will remember with love and fondness a woman dedicated and devoted to her family and recall her treasured "Noni's meatballs". She leaves three children: John Scot Comey of Attleboro; Michael D. Comey of Attleboro and Pamela A. Belcher of Scituate, Rhode Island; ten grandchildren; her siblings: William Todesco of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire; James Todesco of Norton; numerous nieces, nephews, several extended family members and dear friends. She was the mother of the late Jamie Marie Raposa who died in 2003 and was the sister of the late Frank Todesco, Patrick Todesco, Phyllis Welshman and Geraldine Campbell. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 330 Pratt Street - Route 106, Mansfield. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield. Beginning at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 11, 2014 following cemetery services, family members and friends are cordially invited to a Memorial Party in Rosie's honor at 18 Oak Hill Avenue, Attleboro.
