Louise Jane Hetu

Louise Jane (Nattinville) Hetu, 86, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Golden Living Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest J. Hetu who died in 1994.Born on August 20, 1929 in Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Theophile Nattinville and Emma (Chamberlain) Nattinville. Jane was a longtime resident of North Attleboro, having previously lived in Attleboro, MA.She worked for many years in Customer Returns for the Univis Frame Company in North Attleboro before her retirement. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and travel. Jane delighted in square dancing and had been a member of a square dancing club. She was the Past President of the Circle Court Tenants Association. She loved spending time with her cherished family, especially her many grandchildren and their families.Jane is survived by her dear daughters: Pamela J. Haggas of Paxton, MA; Jean A. Taylor of Brockton, MA; and Marie Bennett of Bellevue, NE. She leaves nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; her cousin, Donald P. Anderson, III of North Attleboro, MA; her niece, Theresa L. Lemay of Pawtucket, RI; and her nephew, Stephen M. Wapenski of Brooksville, FL.She was the mother of the late Ronald E. Hetu, Sr., and the sister of the late Mary Wapenski.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Children's room is available during visitation and while the funeral cortege is being organized.Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary transportation.
