Louise Santos Gonsalves

Louise (Santos) Gonsalves, 89, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 31, 2017 with her loved ones by her side. She was the beloved wife of Mario F. Gonsalves.Born on April 18, 1928 in Madeira, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rosa Santos.Louise worked for many years at Swank, Inc. of Attleboro before her retirement. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Attleboro, MA.A kind and caring woman of great faith and devotion who held church prayers groups and loved gardening, she cherished spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Mario, she leaves her loving daughter, Natalie S. Gonsalves of Seekonk, MA; two nieces, Madelena and Goretti Camara, of North Attleboro, MA; and a nephew, John Camara, of Attleboro, MA. Louise was predeceased by her sister Maria Camara.Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Louise by gathering for a Visitation on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Friends and relative are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 71 Linden Street, Attleboro, MA.A Graveside Service will immediately follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
