Lorna M. Mckeon

December 5, 1948 — March 3, 2024

Lorna May (Myers) McKeon, 75, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was the beloved "bride" of Robert J. McKeon to whom she was married on August 16, 1968.
Born on December 5, 1948, she was a daughter of Gertrude "Trudy" McKeon of Wrentham, MA, and the late Ervin Myers. Raised and educated in North Attleboro she was a member of the class of 1966 at North Attleboro High School. She later graduated from the former Bryant and Stratton College in Boston, MA where she earned her associate's degree.
Lorna was a stay-at-home mom until her two sons were in school. She then worked part-time as a bookkeeper for various Attleboro businesses and last was employed by King, McNamara and Moriarty in Norwood, MA, where she worked full time until her retirement in April of 2015.
Her favorite times were spent in the company of her cherished family. She always enjoyed dining out at area restaurants, especially those on Cape Cod near her second home in South Dennis. Lorna and Bob shared their dining experiences through written reviews as "Bob and the bride" on social media, and were followed by many.
Lorna and Bob enjoyed forty-three years of cruising the waters between Nantucket and Long Island, New York, on their boat, "It's Only Money." She had an extreme fondness for Block Island where they would spend a good portion of their summers. Lorna & Bob also enjoyed their membership at the Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston, RI.  Lorna often said those were the best thirteen years spent boating with so many great friends.
In addition to her beloved husband, she leaves her two sons, Sean R. McKeon and his fiancée, Melissa Brastow, both of Attleboro, MA and Kevin J. McKeon and his partner, Robyn Catarius, both of North Attleboro, MA. She leaves her grandchildren: Matthew and Ryan McKeon, Aidan, Colleen and Teagan McKeon. She also leaves her sister, Brenda Grahn and her husband, William Grahn, both of South Attleboro, MA, and a brother, Mark Myers in Florida. She was the sister-in-law of Sandy and Phil Gorman in Florida.
All services will be conducted privately in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home,161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
