Loretta Ann (Cavalieri) Mailly, 76, of Plainville, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald R. Mailly, Sr., who died on September 11, 1998.Born on May 24, 1939 in North Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Angelo Cavalieri and Marietta (Germaine) Cavalieri.A resident of Plainville, MA, she previously lived in North Attleboro, MA. She was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, and worked for many years in the Retail business. Loretta was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro. She delighted in cooking, but her greatest passion in life was her love of her family. She is survived by her beloved children: Pamela A. (Mailly) Lumnah and her husband, James H. Lumnah, of Plainville, MA; and Gerald R. Mailly, Jr., and his wife, Lisa A. (Gallagher) Mailly, of Mansfield, MA; and her treasured grandchildren: Nicholas Mailly, Samantha Mailly, Aaron Lumnah, Alexander Lumnah, and Molly Lumnah. She was the sister of Pasquale Cavalieri and his wife, Sandra Cavalieri, of Mansfield, MA; and the late Samuel Cavalieri, and is survived by his wife, Barbara Cavalieri, of Taunton, MA. Loretta leaves her dear life-long best friend, Madeline Forsyth of North Attleboro, MA.Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 7:45 a.m. from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, at which time Loretta will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, Gerald.Children's room is available during visitation and funeral service.
