Lois Lucille (Larson) Waite, 86, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late James Raymond Waite who died on November 1, 2012.Born on September 29, 1930 in Glendale, CA, she was the daughter of the late Lester E. Larson and the late Lucille (Hoenicke) Larson.A graduate of North Attleboro High School, she worked for more than twenty years in the Order Processing Department of the former V.H. Blackinton & Company in North Attleboro, before retiring. A resident of North Attleboro for most of her life, she was a warm and loving soul who enjoyed playing cards; gardening - flowers and plants; painting; antique shopping; and visits to the Christmas Tree Shop. She always enjoyed something sweet to eat and her favorite ice cream. Lois enjoyed animals of all kinds, but had a special place in her heart for her faithful late dog, "Willow". More than anything, though, she simply loved being with her treasured family.She is survived by her loving and beloved children: David L. Bowers of Macungle, PA; Wayne D. Waite of Kula, HI; Cheryl E. Mullen of Attleboro, MA; and Heather L. Waite of Attleboro Falls, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Drew R. Bowers, Todd M. Bowers, Michael N. Carrington, Katelyn M. Mullen, and Meghan E. Mullen. She was the sister of the late Robert Larson and the late Norman Larson. Lois leaves several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to all who cared for their Mom.Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Lois by gathering for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
