Lois Ann (Fadgen) Scarlatelli, 81, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2018, surrounded by her children at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick J. Scarlatelli who died on August 4, 2005.Born on May 21, 1936 in Clinton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Dr. John Fadgen and the late Dorothy (Murphy) Fadgen.A graduate of Clinton High School, Lois attended St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing and attained her Registered Nurse's license in 1957. She worked as an RN for Norwood Hospital until retiring in 2016. She previously worked at Pondville State Hospital in Norfolk, MA.A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, she was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Lois was deeply committed to her work as a nurse. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and she enjoyed all Boston sports teams. Lois is survived by her loving children: Susan A. DeBlois, and her husband, Sam J. DeBlois, of Norton; Kara A. Shahzade of Norton; and Frederick and Leah Scarlatelli, of Saint Cloud, FL. She was the dear sister of Edward Fadgen of OH; Judith Bailey and her husband, Robert, of AZ; Peter Fadgen and his wife, Kathryn of Clinton, MA; Paul Fadgen of Rochester, NY; Dorothy Fadgen of Clinton, MA; David Fadgen, of Clinton, MA; Richard Fadgen and his wife Lauren of Clinton, MA; Robert Fadgen of Clinton, MA; and the late John Fadgen, formerly of Las Vegas. She was the adoring grandmother of Michael S. DeBlois; Samantha S. DeBlois; Christian E. Shahzade; Matthew A. Shahzade; and John A. Shahzade. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews, many dear friends and co-workers.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Lois by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.
