Lois Edith (Noyes) Carlin, 93, of Gardner, MA, formerly of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2022, at the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gardner, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Carlin who died on February 19, 2013.Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 19, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Raymond G. Noyes and the late Lettie Noyes. She resided in Gardner, MA for the past 5 years having moved to that community from Attleboro, MA where she had resided for more than 30 years. She and her husband raised their family in Canton, MA.Mrs. Carlin was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family.She treasured the countless hours she volunteered at the Attleboro Public Library, enjoyed knitting, gardening, sewing and cherished creating lifelong memories with her family.Left to mourn her loss are her children: Lynn Marie (Carlin) Kvingedal of Gardner, MA; Laura Ann (Carlin) Starmer of Waterford, Maine; Brian William Carlin of Palm Coast, Florida; Denise Janice (Carlin) Gamon of Jamestown, Rhode Island and Sean F. Carlin of Old Orchard, Maine; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and her husband's brother: John Sherman of Sandwich, MA.She was the grandmother of the late Sean Patrick Carlin and Lars Kvingedal and was the great grandmother of the late Aiden Carlin.
