Linda Leemarie Thomas

Linda LeeMarie (DeBlois) Thomas, 64, of Pridemark Lane, Attleboro, died unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, June 30, 2012. She was the wife of the late Timothy Noel Thomas to whom she was married on May 3, 1969 and who died on August 7, 2006. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on August 19, 1947, she was a daughter of Lionel DeBlois of North Attleboro and the late Mildred (Boyle) DeBlois. Raised and educated in North Attleboro, Mrs. Thomas later attended and graduated with the first graduating class of Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro in 1965. Mrs. Thomas was employed as a licensed practical nurse for many years having worked at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Brockton for several years and for the Norcap Lodge in Foxboro prior to her retirement in September 2010. A resident of Attleboro for the past 34 years, she previously resided in her native community of North Attleboro. Her favorite pastimes included knitting, reading, taking road trips with her husband but most of all spending time with her family creating lifelong memories to cherish. In addition to her father, she leaves four children: Wendy M. Boudreau and her husband, Peter R. Boudreau, of Attleboro; Tanya L. Thomas-Lithway, of Attleboro; Timothy D. Thomas and his wife, Alice Thomas, of Attleboro and Sarah A. Thomas of Attleboro; seven grandchildren; three sisters: Lori DeBlois of Cumberland, Rhode Island; Vicki Zurawel of North Attleboro and Tammy Audette in Florida; a brother: Clifton Sauerlinder of Seekonk and several extended family members. She was the sister of the late Diane Nelson. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation Friday, July 6, 2012 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date in Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro. Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced at the conclusion of services.
