Linda (Ouellette) Rocha, 67, of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Ernest Rocha, whom she married on August 29, 1980.
Born on December 27, 1953, in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Albert Ouellette and the late Marjorie Frances (Livermore) Ouellette, and was like a daughter to Marjorie's late companion, Charles Walter Jordan.
Linda worked for more than twenty years in the areas of stamping, die- casting, and shipping and receiving for Sharp Industries in North Attleboro, before semi-retiring. She was a longtime resident of Attleboro, having previously lived in North Attleboro, MA.
A woman of abiding faith, she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro.
Linda was a selfless woman with a heart of gold. She would lend a hand to anyone in need, take their pain if she could, had a deep and intuitive sense of care and compassion, and always enjoyed shopping for others. Her greatest joy derived from being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and she was the true foundation of her family. They will forever miss her warmth, her unqualified love, and her affection.
Linda was also a great observer of life. She enjoyed people-watching, watching the swans at Slater Park in Pawtucket, RI, and the boats traveling the Cape Cod Canal. Most especially, she delighted in bird watching, and held a special place in her heart for her miniature pinscher, "Mila".
In addition to her husband, Ernest, Linda leaves her loving children: Michael A. Ouellette and his companion, Deborah "Debbie" Owens, of Attleboro, MA; Nichole A. Forbes of South Attleboro, MA; and Jennifer M. Woodson and her husband, Albert D. Woodson, of Douglas, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Tanisha N. Dyer, Desmond C. Woodson, and Emily E. Forbes. Linda was the sister of the late Roland Joseph Ouellette and his wife, Virginia Ouellette, of Rehoboth, MA; Judith Ouellette of Attleboro, MA; Carol Fontaine and her husband, Wilfred "Bill" A. Fontaine, of Attleboro, MA; Raymond Ouellette and his wife, Gloria Ouellette, of Attleboro, MA; and Ruthie Costillo and her husband, Nestor Costillo, of North Attleboro, MA. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends and neighbors.
A Private Visitation followed by a Private Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
