Linda (Manchester) McKay, 74, of South Attleboro, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the wife of Fred J. Olsen.Born in Wrentham, MA on December 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Manchester and the late Christine (Woloshyn) Manchester.Linda resided in South Attleboro for the past thirty years, having previously lived in North Attleboro, MA. She retired in 2008 as a Receptionist for Bannister House, Inc. in Providence, RI. Linda had previously worked for more than twenty years for the L.G. Balfour Company in Attleboro, MA.Her family was the most important part of Linda's life. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and feeding her family. Linda was an avid reader, and took pride in having been the first woman UPS Teamster in New England.In addition to her husband, Fred, she is survived by her beloved children: Eric A. Flanagan of Attleboro, MA; Jeffrey P. Flanagan and his companion, Lori Monti, of Cumberland, RI; and Kelly-Jean Lila Wright and her husband, Thomas A. Wright, of Pawtucket, RI. She was the sister of Beverly (Manchester) Carvara of VA; Phyllis (Manchester) Barnes of NH; Carol (Manchester) Froias of Uxbridge, MA; and Richard Manchester of North Attleboro, MA. She also leaves five cherished grandchildren, nine treasured great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Linda was the sister of the late Jean (Manchester) Jones and the late Jack Manchester. She was the former wife of Albert Flanagan of North Attleboro, MA and FL; and the former wife of Edward McKay.
