Linda A. (Mccarthy) Salisbury

Linda A. (McCarthy) Salisbury, 72, recently of East Bridgewater, MA and formerly a longtime resident of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA where she had been treated with grace and compassion. She was the wife of the late Robert Salisbury who died in 2000.Born in Boston, MA on November 29, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Russell J. McCarthy and the late Ruth Marie (McLean) McCarthy. Linda was raised and educated in Norton where she was a 1969 graduate of Norton High School.She was employed for more than ten years as a cashier for the former Hannaford Supermarket in Easton, MA.Her favorite pastimes included crafting, sitting outside watching her birds and worshipping the sun, attending Boston Red Sox games, watching the New England Patriots on television, shopping and decorating for every season - particularly, the Christmas holiday.Linda was happiest when spending time with her beloved grandchildren creating lifelong memories to cherish. Her family recalls her desire to always be meticulously dressed with every item matching the others.Left to mourn her loss are her children: Daniel St. Pierre, Jr. in Tennessee; Timothy Salisbury and his wife, Crystal Salisbury, of Warwick, Rhode Island; Tracey Stolpner and her fiancé, Steve Dimino, both of Norton, MA and Raschele Harris and her husband, Michael Harris, of East Bridgewater, MA; her stepchildren: Robert Salisbury of Grovetown, Georgia and Michelle Salisbury of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren: her siblings: Kenneth P. McCarthy and his wife, Carol H. (Gray) McCarthy, of North Attleboro, MA; Susan Carreiro and her husband, Richard Carreiro, of Norton, MA and James "Rusty" McCarthy and his wife, Laura McCarthy, of Weymouth, MA; several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Douglas E. McCarthy.Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA. All are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
