Linda Ann (Gariepy) Falardeau, 70, of Woonsocket, RI, formerly of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI shortly after arrival. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Charles Falardeau to whom she was married on February 10, 1973, and who died on January 5, 2021.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on October 23, 1951, she was a daughter of the late William Gariepy and the late Orise (Chalifoux) Gariepy. She was a graduate of Cumberland (RI) High School.
She was a longtime resident of the City of Attleboro prior to moving to Woonsocket this past July.
Linda was employed as a furnace runner for the Norking Company in Attleboro for the past 32 years.
Some of her favorite times were spent at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island and enjoyed a few visits to Las Vegas, Nevada.
She considered herself a "home body" who enjoyed being surrounded by her family and telling the occasional inappropriate joke.
She leaves a daughter: Joann M. Lopez-Torres of Woonsocket, RI; her stepchildren: Bruce G. Falardeau in Georgia; Patricia F. Cangiano of Attleboro, MA; Maureen A. Falardeau in Florida; seven grandchildren; and her siblings: Marie Feller and William Gariepy. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
