Lillian M. Mahoney

Lillian M. (Ferrante) Mahoney, 94, of Norton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Wingate of Norton in Norton, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Mahoney who died in December 1987.Born on April 14, 1923 in Johnston, RI, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Margaret (Pezza) Ferrante. Prior to residing in Norton for the past two years, she had lived most of her life in North Attleboro, MA. Lillian worked for twenty-five years in Quality Control for Texas Instruments, Inc. in Attleboro, MA, before retiring. She had long attended St. Mary's Church in North Attleboro.The focus of Lillian's life was her husband, for whom she cared for many years, and her cherished family, with whom she truly loved spending time. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and the companionship of her sweet late dog, "Archie".She was the loving mother of Sandra M. Mahoney of Jacksonville, FL; the adoring grandmother of James Parker Eidam and his wife, Jennifer (Breiner) Eidam of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Michael L. Eidam of Newport Beach, CA, and Lani (Eidam) Allain of Hallsville, TX; and the treasured great-grandmother of Taylor Ann Eidam and Caden T. Eidam, children of James and Jennifer (Breiner) Eidam; Garrett J. Allain, Raegan M. Allain, and Ryan Parker Allain, children of Lani (Eidam) Allain. Lillian was the sister of Gloria (Ferrante) Mahoney and her husband, Walter Mahoney, of Ormond Beach, FL; Irene "Rita" (Ferrante) Riel and her husband, Joseph Riel, of North Attleboro, MA; the late Daniel Ferrante; and the late Benjamin Ferrante.Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Lillian by gathering for a Visitation on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.
