Lillian Marie (Richard) Gaudette, 92, of Wrentham, MA, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at All American Assisted Living Center in Wrentham. She was the beloved wife of the late Armand M. Gaudette who passed away on March 26, 2009.
Born on January 3, 1927 in North Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Richard and the late Josephine (Fortier) Richard.
Raised and educated in North Providence, she was a graduate of North Providence High School, and worked for many years in the food and beverage industry until retiring.
A resident of Wrentham for the past two months, she previously lived in Cranston, RI, Cumberland, RI, and for many years in St. Petersburg, FL. She most recently attended St. Aidan-St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cumberland. The center of Lillian's world was always her family, and she cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed gardening.
Lillian was the loving and much-loved mother of Susan E. Howard, and her husband, Lawrence Howard, of Cumberland, RI; Michael P. Gaudette and his wife, Donna Gaudette, of Blackstone, MA; and Richard L. Gaudette and his wife, Carol Gaudette, of St. Petersburg, FL. She was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Lillian was predeceased by her ten siblings and leaves numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Mass for Lillian on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aidan-St. Patrick Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI 02864.
Graveside services will be privately held in the Veterans Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL, at which time Lillian will be laid to rest alongside her dear late husband.
