Leslie Ann (Hanrahan) Kell, 56, of Plainville, MA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late David Charles Kell. Born on December 3, 1959 in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. Hanrahan, Sr., and the late Marcia E. (MacKenzie) Hanrahan.Leslie was a graduate of King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA, and attended Fisher College. A resident of Plainville for the past thirty-five years, she worked for more than twenty years at A & J Restaurant in North Attleboro, MA.A woman who brightened your day with her warm smile or kind words, Leslie left a lasting impression on all those she encountered. She was a source of inspiration and strength, and always provided a sturdy shoulder to lean on. Leslie was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, camping, and going to beaches such as Newport, Onset, and many on Cape Cod. Leslie's most treasured time was spent with her beloved family and her loving friend and companion for more than twenty-years, Ralph J. Hyde, all of whom will miss her dearly. In addition to Mr. Hyde of Plainville, MA, Leslie is survived by her cherished children: Shawn F. Hanrahan and his wife, Laura R. Hanrahan, of Wrentham, MA; David A. Kell and his companion, Brenna O'Brien, of North Smithfield, RI; and Ashley R. Kell of Plainville, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Ella G. Hanrahan of Wrentham, MA, and the dear sister of Laurie (Hanrahan) Muratori of Foxboro, MA, Lynn (Hanrahan) Tessier of Carver, MA, Lisa J. (Hanrahan) Christie of Providence, RI, and Lee (Hanrahan) Smolinsky of Wrentham, MA. She leaves several nieces and nephews.Leslie was the sister of the late Paul W. Hanrahan, Jr.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Children's room is available during visitation.Those in need of a local ride to the visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary transportation.
