Leona V. Norman

Leona V. "Lee" (Robinson) Norman, 88, of Norton, MA passed away on November 4, 2023, at Medway Country Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Medway, MA.  She was the beloved wife of the late Russell D. Norman who died on July 7, 2001.
Born in Cummington, MA on January 7, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Robinson and the late Anna (Turner) Robinson.
In earlier years, Mrs. Norman was employed as a telephone operator and later worked at Texas Instruments in Attleboro having been employed as an assembler for many years prior to her retirement.
She was the past secretary of the Texas Instruments Retirees Club and enjoyed spending time with her friends and attending programs at the Norton Senior Center.
Mrs. Norman attended the Grace Baptist Church, Attleboro.
She leaves a son: Steven A. Marden; a grandson: Tyler Marden; dear friend: Ronnie Jacobs; her friend and caregiver: Barbara L. Devine of Norton, MA and several extended family members and dear friends.
Mrs. Norman was the sister of the late Lozene Williams, Stephen Robinson who died in  World War II, Maybelle Thompson, Cynthia Wood and Juanita Davis.
All are welcome to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.  A Celebration of Life Service will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial will follow in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, Taunton, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Lee to Bristol Elder Services, 1 Father DeValles Boulevard - Unit 8, Fall River, MA  02723 to benefit the local meals on wheels program.
