Leo A. Beaupre Sr.

February 12, 1935 — December 13, 2022

Leo Alfred Beaupre', Sr., 87, of Mansfield, MA passed away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on December 13, 2022, He was the beloved husband of Marcia Lee (Thayer) Beaupre to whom she was married on May 25, 1956.
Born in Boston, MA on February 12, 1935, he was a son of the late Eugene Beaupre' and the late Blanche (Hebert) Beaupre'.
Raised and educated in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston, MA, he moved to Mansfield 57 years ago from Norwood, MA.
Mr. Beaupre' proudly served his country with the United States Navy.
He was employed as an A & R machinist and quality control manager for the former Frank M. Hill Machine Company in Walpole, MA, having worked for the company for 26 years prior to his retirement.
His favorite pastimes included creating woodworking projects, gardening and enjoying fried clams with his wife. A doting grandfather, he never missed a softball, basketball or soccer game or an awards banquet.
Left to mourn his wife he leaves his children: Leo A. Beaupre', Jr. and his wife, Daryl (Norris) Beaupre', of North Attleboro, MA; Leona Russell and her husband, Jimmy Russell, of Attleboro, MA; Donna Farrington of Taunton, MA; Robert Beaupre' and the late Denise (Maloney), of Attleboro, MA; Sandra Regan and her husband, Scott Regan, of South Attleboro, MA; Thomas Beaupre' and his wife, Melissa (Lockwood) Beaupre', of South Attleboro, MA; Alan Beaupre' and his wife, Sherry, of Norton, MA and Brian Beaupre' and his wife, Anna (Moreira) Beaupre', of Hopedale, MA; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
He was the grandfather of the late Jonathon Farrington and was predeceased by all of his siblings.
Family and friends will be cordially invited to attend a Celebration of His Life with Veteran's Honors on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A private service with military honors will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Leo's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
