Leo "Flashy" Anthony Somma

Leo "Flashy" Anthony Somma, 82, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.  He was the beloved husband of Paula Carol (Bader) Somma whom he married on June 26, 1970.
Born on May 8, 1938 in Leominster, MA, he was the son of the late Angelina Somma.
Leo proudly and honorably served our country as an Army Paratrooper and worked as a motorcycle mechanic for many years before retiring.
A resident of North Attleboro since 1971, he previously lived in Dorchester, MA.
Leo was a man of many diverse interests: he enjoyed skydiving, sailing, fresh and saltwater fishing, and gardening.  He was passionate about motorcycles, having won several racing awards over the years and having enjoyed membership in the Domineers Motorcycle Club for more than twenty-five years, and enjoyed working with leather.
In addition to his wife, Paula, he leaves his loving children: Lee Somma of Taunton, MA; Frank Somma of Brockton, MA; Tina (Somma) Stroney of Holbrook, MA; and Michael Johnson of Weymouth, MA. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Leo was predeceased by his two brothers and leaves his extended family and many dear friends.
