Lawrence Weston Tilton, 64, of Peck Street, North Attleboro, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Karen M. (Forrester) Tilton with whom he shared more than 40 years. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on May 19, 1950, he was a son of the late Lawrence Fred Tilton and Mildred Ruth (Monk) Tilton. He resided in Norton and North Attleboro most of his life. Mr. Tilton was a graduate of Norton High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars - Filmore-Nason Post 8049 in Norton. Mr. Tilton was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years and most recently was employed at Retail Printing in Mansfield. He will be lovingly remembered for being a talented and creative cook and a man devoted and dedicated to his family. In addition to his wife, he leaves three children: Kelly Durand of Central Falls, Rhode Island; Jamie Forrester of Norton and Greg Forrester of North Attleboro; seven grandchildren; his siblings: Carlene, Deidre and William; several nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends. A private memorial visitation and gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
