Lawrence E. Ronco, Sr., 87, of Belleview, Florida died on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Care Unit in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the husband of Meldora "Dolly" M. (Russell) Ronco to whom he married in 1946 and they spent 67 wonderful years together. Born in Bangor, Maine on May 13, 1926, he was a son of the late Pauline (Ronco) Fournier. Mr. Ronco served in the United States Army starting in 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He earned an accounting degree from Bryant and Stratton College in Boston. He was employed as a realtor for Century 21 at the Ed Pariseau Real Estate offices for many years prior to his retirement in 1988. Larry was a bit of a jokester and full of life. He loved people and enjoyed making friends, even with strangers. Mr. Ronco was an avid reader and loved to learn; was fond of going to yard sales and bargaining for antiques. His passion, however, was being at his farm and cottage in the Northern Woods of Maine. Including his beloved wife, he leaves behind four children: Lawrence E. Ronco, Jr. of Boston; Jean C. Warner and the late John L. Warner of Belleview, Florida; Russell J. Ronco and his companion, Linda A. Poore of Norton; Judy A. Warner and her husband, Roger S. Warner of Attleboro Falls; two grandchildren: Ethan T. Warner and Emily J. Warner, both of Attleboro Falls; and a large loving family. Mr. Ronco was predeceased by his siblings: Kenneth Fournier, Phillip Tarr, and Bernette "Bunny" Lyford.
