Lawrence Harold Lahey

Lawrence "Larry" Harold Lahey, 82, of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Alice (McCarthy) Lahey, to whom he was married in December 1955 at St. James Church in Boston, MA.Born on November 30, 1934 in Dorchester, MA, he was the son of the late Ernest L. Lahey and the late Edith (Millican) Lahey.Larry was a graduate of Boston Trade High School and worked for many years as a Glaser for Custom Glass before retiring. A resident of Norton since 1964, he previously lived in Boston. He attended St. Mary's Church in Norton, MA and enjoyed traveling with his wife. He was an avid ham radio operator. Above all else, Larry cherished spending time with his family.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children: Lawrence Paul Lahey and his companion, Andrea J. Thompson, of Plainville, MA; Diane Marie Lahey of Mansfield, MA; and Steve M. Lahey and his wife, Jane (Hammon) Lahey, of Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved father of the late Brenda L. Lahey. Larry was the adoring grandfather of Justin Lancaster, Sr., Lindsey Angerame, Lewis Davis, Nicole Brunelle, and Patrick John Lahey, and the proud great-grandfather of Justin Lancaster, Jr., and Dominic Ragussa.
