Lawrence George Auger, Sr.

Lawrence "Larry" George Auger, Sr., 78, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Nancy D. (Castelli) Auger, to whom he was married on December 30, 1976.Born on December 16, 1938 in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Lorenzo E. Auger and the late Lucy (Nardini) Auger.A graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1956, he lived in North Attleboro since 1976, having previously lived in Attleboro. Larry worked for many years as a printer, both for the L.G. Balfour Company in Attleboro, and for W.E. Jackson & Company in Johnston, RI, before retiring in 1991.He was a man of faith committed to the ministry of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Larry was also an avid sports fan.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lawrence "Larry" George Auger, Jr. of Mansfield, MA and Cyndee Christenson and her husband Bruce of North Providence, RI as well as his step-children: Michael A. Dupuis and his wife, Karen D. (Baltazar) Dupuis, of North Attleboro, MA; and Lisa R. Dupuis of Lakeland, FL. He was a grandfather and great-grandfather. Larry was the brother of Donna Sullivan and her husband, Tom Sullivan, of Florida and Cumberland, RI, and leaves his extended family.A Memorial Service will be held for Larry Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 88 Commonwealth Ave. Attleboro, Massachusetts 02703.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Larry to Life Care Center of Attleboro, 969 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .
