Laurence B. Lanoie

Laurence "Larry" B. Lanoie, 66, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Diane L. (Charland) Lanoie to whom he married in 1991.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 9, 1957, he was a son of the late George Arthur Lanoie, and the late A. Janice Lanoie. Raised and educated in Lincoln, RI, he was a 1975 graduate of Lincoln High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 1982.
He was a highly accomplished Mechanical Engineer working on many projects throughout his 40 year career. He was co-owner of AGAR Machining & Welding, Inc. in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where he was the Vice President and Manufacturing Manager.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, he leaves his twin children: Michael Lanoie and Lauren Lanoie both of North Attleboro, MA; his brothers: Leonard/Susan Lanoie of North Smithfield, RI and Kenneth/Rebecca Lanoie of Lincoln, RI; his uncle Russel/Joan Lanoie of Conway, NH; many cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friends and colleagues.
He will always be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father and a true friend to all that knew him.
Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro followed by a funeral service in the "Memorial Chapel" at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Larry's name and honor may be made to either the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Jimmy Fund, or one's favorite charity.
