Lauren Odette (Strait) Silva, 79, of North Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 14, 2025, at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro, MA where she had been a long-time resident.
Born on January 7, 1946, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late William Strait and the Christina (Green) Strait. She was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester, MA and earned an associate's degree in business administration from Massasoit Community College.
She was employed as an administrative assistant for the South Shore Community Action Program in Plymouth, Massachusetts for many years.
Lauren will be remembered for her love for Dunkin' French vanilla coffee that she craved all day and for her love for sweets.
Remembered as a woman devoted to her family and the life of the party, she enjoyed listening to doo wop music, crocheting and playing scrabble and playing rummy with her sisters.
She leaves her devoted children: Krystl Frazer and her husband, Steven Frazer, of Attleboro, MA and Sevilla Baez and her husband, Keita Turner, of North Attleboro, MA; 9 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; her siblings: Sherron Thompson of Wareham, MA; Monica Peters of Roxbury, MA; Judith Chambers of Tampa, Florida and Rebecca Armour of Austin, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, friends and “Baby Kitty”, her beloved feline companion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12:00 - 6:00 pm at the Beagle Club of Plainville, 115 Everett Skinner Road, Plainville, MA.
