Kyle Joseph Geisel, 26, of Warren, RI, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. Born on June 15, 1991 in Attleboro, MA, he was the beloved son of Carl Joseph Geisel of Warren, RI, and Tammy L. (Horton) Chalk of Pawtucket, RI.A resident of Warren for the past eight years, he previously lived in Attleboro, where he had attended school. A Steel Worker and Welder, Kyle proudly enjoyed worked alongside his father, his Uncle Paul, Uncle Fred, and his brother-in-law, Chris, at Building Envelope Systems in Plainville, MA. A member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish in South Attleboro, he was a warm, caring, young man who genuinely loved being with his family and who especially cherished spending time with his sister, his nephew and nieces, and his cousins. Welding was an important part of Kyle's life. He enjoyed golf, camping, Buffalo Wild Wings, and scratch lottery tickets. He enjoyed completing the Tough Mudder competitive course in New Hampshire, and computers and technology, having built his own computer. A bit of a jokester, Kyle's great sense of humor and love of life will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.Kyle is survived by his loving parents: his father, Carl Joseph Geisel and his wife, Karen, of Warren, RI; and his mother, Tammy Chalk and her husband, Marc A. Chalk, of Pawtucket, RI. He leaves his beloved sister, Erika L. Geisel and her husband, Christopher L. Carey, Sr., and their children: Christopher L. Carey, Jr., Lileighanah L. Carey, and Carleighela L. Carey, all of Attleboro, MA; and his step-siblings, Taylor and Cassidy, Jacqueline, Justin, and the late Jacob Chalk. He was the loving maternal grandson of Susannah K. Michaud of Plainville, MA, and the late Harold N. Horton; and the paternal grandson of Dorothy A. Russo and her husband, Michael Russo, of Attleboro, and the late Frederick Geisel. Kyle leaves several aunts and uncles; his cousins, who were like brothers to him; and many dear friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Kyle by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday.
