Koshi Punjabi

July 23, 1946 — January 13, 2022

Koshi Punjabi, 75, of Walpole, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA.  She was the beloved wife of Kewal Punjabi, whom she married on November 12, 1972.
Born on July 23, 1946, in Karachi (undivided India), Koshi was the daughter of the late Bhagwan Dass Nawani and the late Ishwari (Putlibai) Nawani.
Raised and educated in India, Koshi worked for more than twenty-five years as a Bank Officer before retiring and moving to the United States five years ago.  Before living in Walpole, she resided in Norwood, MA.
A woman of great faith and devotion, the center of Koshi's world truly was her family, with whom she cherished spending time, especially with her treasured grandchild.  She enjoyed gardening in her vegetable garden and cooking, as well.
In addition to her husband, Kewal, she leaves her loving son Tarun Punjabi and his wife, Treshma Sud, of Walpole, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Riyan Punjabi. Koshi was the sister of Mohini Kar of San Francisco, CA, and was predeceased by four brothers and one sister, and leaves her extended family and many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Hindu Family Visitation and Ritual Service on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
