Kimberly Dawn Lima-Ritacco, 44, of Uxbridge, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Ritacco, to whom she married on June 7, 2003. Born August 11, 1973, in Pawtucket, RI, she was the beloved first-born daughter of William Joseph Lima and Kathy A. (Vieira) Lima of Pawtucket.A graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1991, she was the Captain of the girls' basketball team. Kimberly received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Rhode Island College. Kimberly worked for many years as a self-employed Licensed Clinical Social Worker. A resident of Uxbridge for the past eleven years, she previously lived in Danielson, CT. Kimberly was a warm, caring woman who, more than anything, treasured spending time with her family and friends and simply loved being at home with those she cared for. She was driven both personally and professionally; she enjoyed the outdoors, camping, health & fitness, and reading. An ardent basketball fan, she especially enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics and March Madness. Despite professional successes, her greatest accomplishment was her beloved son Lukas. She took great pride in his accomplishments both in school and sports. She had a special place in her heart for her faithful companion, "Louie." In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves her most cherished son, Lukas W. Ritacco, of Uxbridge, MA. Kimberly was the beloved daughter-in-law of Anthony A. and Marypatricia Ritacco of East Greenwich, RI. She was the loving sister of Nicole R. Correia and her husband, Dennis, of North Attleboro, MA; and Karyn M. Bowen and her husband, Gregory of Attleboro, MA; cherished granddaughter of Theresa Lima, Joseph & Carol Lima and the late Anthony & Anita Vieira; and beloved sister-in-law of Michael S. Ritacco and his wife, Kelly, of North Kingstown, RI; Mollie A. Fitzgerald and her husband, John, of Hermosa Beach, CA; and Patricia A. Ascari and her husband, Michael, of Santa Ana, CA. She leaves nieces: Hannah E. and Livi G. Correia; Marley R. Ritacco, and Gillian A. Ascari; her nephews: Jordan T. Correia, Cole G. and Lyndon J. Bowen; Michael X. Ritacco and Sawyer J. Fitzgerald; her many aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to honor and remember Kimberly at a Visitation on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the historic Obed Robinson House - 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.Burial will be private.
