Kimberly Dawn Abjornson

Kimberly Dawn (Norris) Abjornson, 38, of South Main Street, Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.  She was the beloved wife of Dean P. Abjornson, to whom she was married on August 13, 2011.   Born on November 8, 1977 in Fayetteville, AR, she was the daughter of Danny Gene Norris.   Kimberly was a graduate of Strong High School in Strong, Arkansas, Class of 1996. She proudly served our country in the National Guard and was employed for the previous six years as a Sales Representative in the Call Center of Triton Technologies in Mansfield, MA.Born and raised in Arkansas, she lived in Attleboro since 1998.  She attended the South Attleboro Assembly of God. She enjoyed camping, the beach, Block Island, and was a true fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Bruins. Kimberly delighted in her German Shepard, "Lilly", but more than anything else in her life, she loved her family and friends and time spent with them.   In addition to her husband, Dean, she is survived by her dear children: Sydney L. Dyer of Arlington, MA; and Madeline A.I. Abjornson of Attleboro, MA; her father, Danny Gene Norris and step-mother, Marilyn S. Schuman Norris of Gaithersburg, MD. She was the sister of Celeste N. Norris and her partner, Aaron Babbitt, of Huntingtown, Maryland; and Jillian L. Burns and her husband, Blake Burns, of Ruston, Louisiana. Kimberly was the beloved granddaughter of Doug "Charlie" Mason and Judy Mason of Clarksville, AR, and the late Mamie Norris and Ollie Belle Norris. She leaves two nieces: Isabelle G. Burns and Meadow Burns; her aunts, uncles, and extended family. There will be a Private visitation by invitation only from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Public Funeral Service on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 3/4 mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.   Children's room is available during the funeral Service. Burial services will be held privately.
