Kevin Michael Sherman

Kevin Michael Sherman, 58, of Attleboro died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, August 22, 2011. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on June 6, 1953, he was the dear son of the late Edward V. Sherman, Sr. and the late Marie B. (Lyman) Sherman. Kevin was raised in North Attleboro and later moved to Attleboro. His favorite pastimes included time spent with family and friends and trips to Block Island. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and professional wrestling. He was very fond of cats and enjoyed an extensive collection of baseball hats. Kevin was a gentle soul and was loved by many. His family is especially grateful for the loving care provided to Kevin by his advocates, Mrs. Isabel Barros and Mr. Bernie Cunniff. He was the beloved brother of Nancy (Sherman) DUva and her companion, Theodore Messier, of Foxboro; Edward Sherman, Jr. of Attleboro; Helen (Sherman) La Chance and her husband, Peter La Chance, of North Attleboro and Stephen Sherman and his wife, Donna Sherman, of Taunton. He also leaves two generations of loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 10:00 -11:00 AM with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private at a later date. Childrens room available during visitation and the funeral service. Following funeral services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship, refreshments and remembrance at a location to be announced.
