Kevin James Bays

Kevin James Bays, 56, of Attleboro, A, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Anita L. (Hall) Bays, to whom he was married on July 27, 1984.Born on July 26, 1960 in Taunton, MA, he was the son of the late Richard E. Bays and the late Delores E. (Viera) Gobin. Kevin was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1979, where he was a four-year Letterman in gymnastics. He worked for many years as a Machinist and Toolmaker for several area businesses.He was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Attleboro, and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and the outdoors. He always had a special place in his heart for his late canine companion, "JoJo".In addition to his wife, Anita, he is survived by his cherished children: Krystle L. Bays of Lowell, MA, and Devin J. Bays of Attleboro, MA. He was the adoring grandfather of Kaylee Carolan, and the brother of Tom R. Bays, Tim R. Bays, Kim M. (Bays) Tyrell, Rick Bays, and Keith R. Bays.
