Kenneth "Ken" Roger Payne, 77, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Attleboro HealthCare in Attleboro.
Born on May 2, 1943 in Beverly, MA. he was the son of the late George Payne and the late Beatrice (Knight) Payne.
A graduate of Abington High School, Ken worked for more than twenty-five years as a Technician for the Polaroid Corporation before retiring.
Ken was a resident of Attleboro for the past twelve years, having previously lived in North Attleboro, where he attended Sacred Heart Church. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed participating in athletics with his children when they were younger, coached basketball, and who could often be seen watching sporting events on television.
Ken was the loving father of Rebecca J. Payne of Bridgewater, MA and Andrew R. Payne of New York, NY. He was the brother of Michael Payne, Gordon Payne, Roy Payne, and Douglas Payne and leaves numerous nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Ruthanne Curley of Brewster, MA.
All services for Ken will be privately held.
