Kenneth Frederic Lincoln

Kenneth Frederic Lincoln, 94, of North Attleboro, MA, went home to his Lord and Saviour surrounded by his family at the Life Care Center of Attleboro on January 11, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Arline Mae (Wentzell) Lincoln who died in 1966.
Born in Taunton, MA on August 10, 1927, he was a son of the late Wilfred Gardner Lincoln and the late Gertrude Frances (Cottrell) Lincoln.  He was raised and educated in Attleboro where he was a graduate of Attleboro High School.  He moved to North Attleboro in 1957 and settled in the Village of Attleboro Falls.
Mr. Lincoln proudly served with the United States Navy and was the recipient of the World War II Victory Medal and in 2017 he was awarded the Moroccan Award for Meritorious Conduct Medal for bravely fighting a fire in Morocco, a recognition he waited for more than 70 years.
He was the founder, owner, and operator of A & K Polishing Company in Attleboro Falls from 1963 until his retirement 15 years ago.
Mr. Lincoln attended Waters Church, North Attleboro.
A gregarious man, he loved conversing with family, friends and even strangers.
His favorite pastimes included bowling, gardening, hunting with his beagles, collecting coins, radios, and vinyl records but most importantly the time spent with his cherished family.
Mr. Lincoln leaves his children: Glenn A. Lincoln and his wife, Pauline (Methe) Lincoln, of Acushnet, MA; Gary P. Lincoln and his wife, Judith (Wirtzburger) Lincoln, of South Daytona, Florida; Suzanne J. DeRoche and her husband, Leonard DeRoche, of Palm Coast, Florida, and Nancy Anne Mottarella and her husband, Edward Mottarella, of Mount Dora, Florida; his "bonus children": Richard Lefevre and his wife, Mary, of Attleboro, MA; Linda Latham and her husband, Daniel, of Rehoboth, MA; Michelle LaChance and her husband, Darrin, in New York and Rene Lefevre and his wife, Cynthia, of Marlborough, MA; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.  The family will greet guests from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the commencement of services.
Private burial with military honors will be held prior to the Celebration of Life in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Rehoboth, MA.
