Kenneth R. Giacoppo

Kenneth Roger Giacoppo, 65, a lifelong North Attleboro, MA resident, passed away peacefully at his residence following a seven-year illness that he confronted with bravery and courage.
Born in Attleboro, MA on August 21, 1958, he was a son of the late Francis Anthony Giacoppo and the late Rose Elizabeth (Chiacchia) Giacoppo. Raised and educated in North Attleboro, he was a 1976 graduate of North Attleboro High School where he was a member of the school band and a master lighting technician for school drama productions.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 1990.  Mr. Giacoppo then earned his Masters in Business Administration from Providence College in 1993.
He was employed as a logistic and supply chain manager for Streetwear, Inc. in Holliston, MA for several years until his retirement due to illness several years ago.
Mr. Giacoppo and his family were longtime communicants of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at Sacred Heart for decades.  He was a member of the Rhode Island Brain and Spine Tumor Foundation and the Providence Jewelers Club.
Among his favorite pastimes, were shooting at the range, taking tranquil walks, trips to Disney World with his family and friends, drives to New Hampshire, particularly North Conway, the traditional Friday night family dinners, watching television and spending time with his grandsons.
He leaves his beloved daughter, Katelyn Castonguay and her husband, Michael, of North Attleboro, MA; his three grandsons: Jack, Maxwell and Matthew Castonguay all of North Attleboro, MA;  his wife: Allison Jewell of North Attleboro, MA and Cumberland, RI and her daughter: Alizabeth Jewell of Cumberland, RI; his siblings: Lianne M. Bochicchio of Weymouth, MA and Janis R. Rigano and her husband, Edward, of Cumberland, Rhode Island; nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends
He was the husband of the late Sharyn M. (LaMothe) Giacoppo who passed into eternal rest in 2000.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
The funeral cortege will begin on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am from the Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life and faith at 10:00 am at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at Sacred Heart, 58 Church Street, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA where he will be laid to rest with beloved family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kenneth's name to the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund.
