Keith Raymond Withers

Keith Raymond Withers, 61, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018 at Wingate of Norton Healthcare in Norton, MA.Born on January 26, 1957 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late George Robert and Jean Doris (Walker) Withers.A resident of Attleboro his entire life, Keith was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1976, and attended Second Congregational Church there. He was employed for thirty years as a Steel Worker for Colonial Contracting & Design, Inc. in Norton. A true outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, Keith was a former member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1014, and of the Attleboro Moose Lodge #463. Having enjoyed sports throughout his life, he was a member of his high school baseball and basketball teams; enjoyed playing darts and listening to music, especially the Rolling Stones; and always looked forward to the Christmas Holidays. More than anything, he loved spending time with his cherished family and his nieces and nephews. Keith is survived by the mother of his children, Dawn Ann (Waters) Withers of Attleboro, and his much-loved children: Daniel Joseph Withers and his companion, Sarah H. Cleaveland, of North Attleboro; and Jesse Robert Withers of Attleboro. He was the loving brother of Robert "Jake" D. Withers and Stephen K. Withers, both of Attleboro, and leaves his dear nephews, nieces, and many friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Keith by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a short service of memories at 7:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.Burial will be private.
