Keith
Johnson
Sep 15, 1953 — Jul 24, 2026
Keith Alan Johnson, 72, of Plainville, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (McAlice) Johnson.
Keith was a proud graduate of King Philip Regional High School, Class of 1971. He built a successful career as a master welder and fabricator, earning the respect of those who knew him for his exceptional craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and unwavering integrity. Outside of work, Keith had a lifelong passion for building hot rods and racecars, and he took great pride in competing with the vehicles he created. He was an avid animal lover, especially devoted to the dogs he rescued over the years, and he cherished spending time with his family. Known for his sweet tooth, generous spirit, and dependable nature, Keith was the kind of man whose word was his bond. Above all, he will be remembered as a fantastic brother, uncle, and friend who was always there for the people he loved.
He is survived by his sister, Kristen (Johnson) Hebert, and her husband, Henry Hebert, of Plainville; his nephew, Andrew Hebert, of Plainville; his niece, Courtney Hebert, of Plainville; as well as many loving relatives and friends.
Services for Keith will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Keith's memory to the New England Racing Museum.
