Kathryn Louise Ramos

Kathryn Louise (Dunbar) Ramos, 66, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2019 at MetroWest Medical Center-Leonard Morse Hospital, in Natick, MA, surrounded by her family.
Born on November 28, 1952 in Norton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Edwin Dunbar and the late Abbie E. (Phinney) Dunbar.
A lifelong resident of Attleboro, Kathryn worked as a Cashier at Falls Market for ten years and as a Solderer at Texas Instruments for five years, and always cherished her role as a homemaker and mother.
A warm and caring woman, she enjoyed the ocean and spending time at the beach, especially Onset Beach on Cape Cod and Old Orchard Beach in Maine; visits to Maine; flying kites; collecting dreamcatchers; and trips to the casino. More than anything, Kathryn loved being with her family and friends, especially her dearest grandchildren.
She was the loving mother of Lisa A. Dunbar of Attleboro, MA; Toni I. Rivera and her companion, Efrain Martinez Jr., of Pawtucket, RI; Gayle L. Rivera of Attleboro, MA; and Jose A. Rivera III of Attleboro, MA.  She was the adoring grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, and the sister of Gail L. O'Malley of Attleboro, MA; Thomas Couture of North Attleboro, MA; and the late Edmund "Sonny" Albert Couture. Kathryn was the beloved companion of Miguel Carrion of Attleboro, MA, and the former companion and dear friend of Jose A. Rivera Jr. of Walpole, MA.  She leaves several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
All services will be private.
