Kathleen V. Phaneuf

July 15, 1941 — July 9, 2021

Kathleen Veronica (Levasseur) Phaneuf, 79, of the Rumford section of East Providence Rhode Island passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Oak Hill Nursing Home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.  She was the wife of the late Donald Richard Phaneuf, Sr. to whom she was married on June 6, 1959, at St. Leo's Roman Catholic Church in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and who died on March 11, 2013.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 15, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Levasseur, Sr., and the late Eva (Lawrence) Levasseur.  Raised and educated in Pawtucket, she was a graduate of Tolman High School. Mrs. Phaneuf resided in South Attleboro, MA for many years prior to moving to Rumford six years ago.
She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church in Seekonk, MA.
Mrs. Phaneuf was employed as an assembler for AT Cross in Lincoln, RI for many years prior to her retirement.
Left to mourn her loss are her two sons: Donald R. Phaneuf, Jr. of Pawtucket, RI and Christopher E. Phaneuf of Rehoboth, MA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Carol Champagne, Patricia Brown, the late Ernest Levasseur, Jr., the late Lawrence Levasseur, the late Robert Levasseur, and the late Victor Levasseur.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
