Kathleen Ann Borden

Kathleen Ann Borden, 68, of Sharon, MA, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, MA following a period declining health. She was the former wife and good friend of Alan W. Ross of Melbourne Beach, Florida.
Born in Attleboro, MA on August 11, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Robert Spencer Borden and the late Eileen E. (Grover) Borden. Raised and educated in the City of Attleboro, she was a 1972 graduate of Attleboro High School. She graduated from the former Pondville Hospital School of Nursing earning a practical nursing degree. Over her career, she worked as an L.P.N. at various hospitals and long-term care facilities.
She adored being with her family and spending time creating lifelong memories to cherish. Being a compassionate nurse, it brought her great joy caring for others.
Kathleen was an animal lover and would never say no to a new pet joining the family.
Some of her favorite pastimes were those spent camping on Cape Cod beaches.
A dedicated New England sports fan, Kathleen would tune in to watch the games whether it was the Patriots or the Red Sox. She also liked reading, getting lost in the pages of a book.
In addition to her former husband, she leaves her two adored children: Jennifer E. Wilson and her husband, Donald J. Wilson, of Palm Bay, Florida and William R. Ross of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, her siblings: Robert Borden of Cocoa, Florida and Dianne E. Tedesco of Attleboro, MA. She was the aunt of Anthony Tedesco and Amy N. Tedesco and also leaves many extended family members.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Funeral Service to which all are invited will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kathleen's name to the Resident Activities Fund at Foremost at Sharon, 259 Norwood Street, Sharon, MA 02067.
