Karen Ann Reilly, 72, of East Bacon Street, Plainville; a North Attleboro native; died on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born on March 9, 1942 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Francis X. and Lillian W. (Balf) Reilly. Raised and educated in North Attleboro, Ms. Reilly was a 1959 graduate of North Attleboro High School and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 1963. She was a longtime North Attleboro resident prior to moving to Plainville. While residing in North Attleboro, Ms. Reilly was a communicant of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and in Plainville attended St. Martha Parish. Ms. Reilly was an educator in the Mansfield School Department having been employed as a math teacher for many years prior to her retirement. Since residing in Plainville, Ms. Reilly enjoyed times spent with her many friends at the Plainville Senior Center. She leaves a niece: Stacey M. Torchia of Cumming, Georgia; a nephew: Neil R. Foster of Attleboro; a great niece: Isabella Torchia; five great nephews: Patrick Foster, Matthew Foster, Christopher Torchia, Nicholas Torchia and Henry Torchia, extended family members and many dear friends. She was the beloved sister of the late Sue-Ellen (Reilly) Foster who died in 2011. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Riley J. Williams, officiating. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ms. Reilly's memory may be made to the Friends of Plainville Seniors, 9 School Street, Plainville, MA 02762. Children's room available during visitation and the funeral service.
