Karen J. Olson

Karen J. Olson (Kolseth) 74, of North Attleboro, MA., passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Thomas R. Olson. They were happily married for 53 years. Born in Jamaica Plain, MA., she was the daughter of the late Richard Ralph Sr., and Jean Edith Kolseth (Stevens). Karen enjoyed spending time by the ocean. One of her favorites places was Goose Rocks Beach, Kennebunkport, ME. She also liked trying her luck at the casinos from time to time. However, her most enjoyable moments were spending time with her family and friends.   Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Tammy Olson of North Attleboro and Heidi Olson-Frigon of Pawtucket and siblings, Richard Kolseth Jr., Susan DeMarco and Beth Lombardo. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, John Frigon and Steven Olson. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, August 11,2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Karen's name may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice. For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com
