Julius Rappaport "Jay" 79, of Pawtucket, RI., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Hope Health Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Sandra M. (Sarazin) Rappaport. They were happily married for 42 years. Born in Everett, Ma., on July 10, 1944, he was the son of the late Meyer and Sadie (Berman) Rappaport. He was raised and educated in Middleboro, Ma. After graduating from Middleboro High School in 1962. He served in U.S. Army. He continued his education at Franklin Tech. Prior to retirement, Julie was employed as a heavy duty diesel mechanic at Calore Freight Seekonk for over 25 years. Then a truck driver for Monarock, Pawtucket. Jay and Sandy enjoyed traveling to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska. Their annual trips to Paradise Island. The Cape and Las Vegas. He was an avid N.E Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. Beside his wife, Jay is survived by his loving daughters, Melissa Morris and her husband Vinny of Seekonk and Stacy Packard and her husband Greg of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Michael Rappaport, Kayla Rappaport, Michelle Kimball, Mackenzie Morris, Camryn Morris, Donna Mitchell and Dillon Mitchell and a dear great-grandson, Bryson LeBlanc. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Arnold Rappaport and Marcia Rappaport-Till. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a funeral home service on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11a.m in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro. Please omit flowers.
